We are now beginning the run up to the next Full Moon which this month comes on the 11th of January.
As a result feelings will steadily turn to more zestful, forceful and aggressive emotions, and the possibility of violent and volatile outbursts that may already be apparent. These will be especially noticeable where there is the consumption of alcohol and this could lead to particularly disturbed emotions and feelings with the potential for severe disruption and upheaval in the appropriate circumstances.
Another of the prime mood influencing factors of this period is the alignment between Mercury and Jupiter. For some days now this has resulted in optimistic and expansive mental expression that may lead to good judgement with a thoughtful and philosophical outlook. Communication with others may for the moment enjoy a better than usual synergy, but conversely any differences may be sharply delineated.
The typical traits associated with Jupiter may also apply and bring good humoured, fun loving interludes with a better sense of well being and entertainment. On the other hand moods associated with Jupiter can also dispose to reckless or foolhardy gestures that could render one prone to mishaps and accidents, with large financial expenditure or losses on trivial items that may quickly lose their appeal.
Meanwhile the traits associated with Mercury can result in an over excitable mental outlook that in tandem with the impending Full Moon may create situations of high restlessness with anxiety and tension and increased apprehension.
All in all this is by no means the worst emotional start to the year and some may relish the positive mental attitude that could pave the way to new and exciting activities or simply a rekindling of passion for existing schemes and ventures. However there is need to guard against excessive passion with an argumentative attitude that in the days ahead may become ever more apparent.
