This is still very much a New Moon atmosphere with plenty of nervous tension that in conjunction with numerous planetary alignments is contributing to a period of greatly heightened moods and awareness.

We are now at the height of no fewer that three planetary alignments. These involve the alignment between Venus and Neptune, as well as the fast moving conjunction between Jupiter and Mercury. In addition to this there is the long term alignment involving Saturn and Uranus.

The sum total of the above mentioned alignments is a sensitive, delicate, and at times aggressive emotional scene that could be subject to extremes of mood and feeling. For example there is the happy, humorous and fun loving nature of Jupiter in tandem with the more reserved, depressive, but controlled characteristics of Saturn.

Then there are the out of character attributes of Uranus with its propensity to bizarre, unusual, or extreme mood traits. Into this mix there is also the more affection, delicate and charming moods of Venus, contrasted by the deceit, fantasy and confusion, associated with Neptune. Of course Neptune also has qualities of self refinement with the chance to evaluate and put right personal short comings. Last but not least there is the nervous enhancement of Mercury, with its disposition to unsettled or anxious emotions together with a restless, worried and apprehensive attitude.

It will be seen that this atmosphere is subject to widely differing influences that may contribute to confused and perplexing feelings with a poor sense of concentration. At the same time there may be more aggressive and confrontational moods that may be especially likely where there is the consumption of alcohol.

To some extent or other these moods will persist until the end of the year, though the intensity of the very heightened mood atmosphere may show some signs of declining towards the end of the week.
