Today is the day of the New Moon and feelings are running understandably high. As a result there may be increased aggression and anxiety with an enhanced sense of awareness.

At this time the Moon is also in alignment with Mars whose bellicose, passionate and forthright and influences will not be easy to ignore or deal with. During this period there is an increased risk of arguments, contentious encounters and even violence with volatile expression and feelings that occasionally may be subject to extremes. This may be especially likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as differences between individuals may be magnified with little tendency towards an amicable solution. Indeed there may be a propensity to argue even if only for the sake of it.

In addition to the New Moon there is also the peak of the alignment between Venus and Neptune to take into account. This short lived but influential alignment has contributed to refined, delicate, idealistic, and sentimental emotions with an increased appreciation of things of beauty and of value and may have contributed to an enriched Christmas experience to ward off other more negative feelings.
