We are now in one of the most delicate mood periods of the year. The proximity of Christmas together with the Solstice of only a few days ago, together with the fact that the Sun now appears to a background of our Galaxy, the Milky Way mean a time of the utmost sensitivity.

As we have mentioned many times already it was likely that this period of emotional vulnerability is probably the reason that since very earliest times this part of the year was given over to wild celebrations and festivities upon which the modern Christmas was superimposed.

The simple fact is that for various reasons, either through distorted cosmic radiation levels, geomagnetic activity, or the fact that in the northern hemisphere this is the darkest part of the year, sensitivities are often stretched to their limits. In turn this manifests in extremes of attitude and behaviour with changeable moods that can be unsettling. It means that this is a period that needs the utmost care and attention especially since ironically this is a time of year that is supposed to be associated with good will to everyone.
