We are now just a day or two away from the New Moon and moods and emotions will inevitably be tense and anxious with increased sensitivity and awareness. This will contribute to an overall feeling of apprehension, doubt, and insecurity so that problems will appear magnified and existing sources of contention will seem even more exaggerated than they already are.

Under these circumstances tempers may easily be aroused with a contentious atmosphere that will be made all the more acute by the influence of numerous potent alignments. Today for example sees the alignment of the Moon and Saturn, both of which are in alignment to Uranus. This will create sharply polarised circumstances with the restraint, discipline, and conformity of Saturn starkly contrasted by the more agitated, perverse and divisive nature of Uranus. In addition feelings are likely to deviate powerfully from the norm with out of character moods and emotions that will see a strong attraction towards escapism in its limitless guises.

On the more positive side this atmosphere offers a substantial degree of zest and enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures together with a highly innovative, imaginative, and original degree of thinking that may seem as if it has come from the mind of another person. There may also be tendencies towards unusual, eccentric, or even perverse modes of behaviour, with the potential for extreme solutions to even the most trivial of situations. This continues to be a very heightened mood situation which comes just several days ahead of the New Moon.

As a result moods will be filled with tense nervous restlessness as well as an increased sense of anxiety and tension. In addition there will be a propensity towards argumentative moods and feelings together with the possibility of volatile exchanges. On occasions these emotions may be of an extreme nature and where arguments develop there may be little restraint in what is said or done.

On this occasion the run up to the New Moon is made all the more intense by the fact that the Moon is soon to come into opposition with Uranus. Frequent visitors to this site will know that Moon/Uranus alignments are out of the top category of unsettled mood influences and can contribute to extreme situations that will bring some to the very edge of what they feel they can stand. At the same time the Moon is also in alignment with Saturn and although this will create a measure of restraint and discipline it will also tend towards a more premeditated and calculating form of expression that could render the overall mood situation even more fraught with tension.
