On of the principal features of this current alert pattern is the opposition between the Moon and Neptune. The two will stay conjunct until around 17:00 GMT (13:00 EDT) on the 26th of September and the likely mood traits to result from this include extreme emotional sensitivity with unstable or disturbed emotions that will be prone to neurotic and escapist tendencies. In addition there may be confused or chaotic impulses with over impressionable feelings that may be subject to strong moods and feelings.

One aspect of the above mentioned alignment is a propensity towards subtle and refined impulses with creative and intuitive feelings and a sense of awareness that for some will verge on the psychic.

Another aspect of this present alert is the proximity of the next New Moon in around three or four days time. This is likely to result in tense and anxious emotions with intense nervous restlessness that for some may come close to crisis point. Under these circumstances there may be definite tensions and anxiety with an increased fears and preoccupation so that all problems will be magnified and assume undue proportions. Similarly there is likely to be an increase in aggressive or belligerent moods with notable outbursts of anger and resentment that may see little restraint in what is said or done. Indeed where sources of acrimony exist there will be considerable volatility that will be made all the more severe by numerous planetary alignments that are outlined below.

Some source of conflict may arise from the on going alignment between Mercury and Mars. This is now close to its end but is still influential and is producing energetic and forceful moods with a an enterprising and resourceful attitude that will however be prone to irritability and argumentative behaviour.

As mentioned in previous alerts Uranus and Saturn are in long term alignment and this is creating circumstances of strong but selfish ambition with a controlled element of ruthless endeavour that may not relate well to the needs or feelings of others.

Coming days are sure to see a definite increase in tensions and anxiety and for some these will be of an acute variety. What will be common to all is a general heightening of moods that will introduce zest and enthusiasm, but also the possibility of contention, panic, or apprehensive moods that will not easily be calmed.
