We are now around five days away from the next Full Moon which this month comes on the 15th of September. As a result moods and emotions will be subject to a gradual increase in tension and anxiety with raised nervous restlessness, aggression and irritability. Under these circumstances problems may loom large with an extra sense of urgency and apprehension.

Other than the impending Full Moon in five days time the other most dominant feature of this current alert is the opposition between the Sun and Uranus. Frequent visitors to this site will know that the effects of Uranus can be highly divisive with erratic, self willed and rebellious moods that also tend towards eccentric, perverse and out of character emotions and feelings.

Uranus also tends towards extremes, with drastic solutions to even the most mundane problems and situations. This means that the family setting may be prone to upheaval with agitated, unstable and turbulent episodes whose consequences could be around for quite some time to come.

On the more positive side Uranus can inspire very creative thinking and planning or the ability to speculate on a level and intensity that one would not normally contemplate. In this way it may encourage one to view things in a totally different light. The handicap to this is that concentration may be less than optimal and it may require above average determination to keep to even the most basic of routines. Mostly this will be because this atmosphere is capable of cultivating extreme escapist tendencies and the allure of pursuits and activities that appear to offer instant emotional rewards will be hard to resist. In this respect there will be an added temptation to drink more than usual and alcohol will only serve to heighten the more bizarre tendencies of Uranus and render them even more extreme.

The other major celestial factor of this period is the alignment between Venus, Mercury and Mars. This is capable of generating immense energy and enthusiasm with a vigour and intensity that will act as a boost to on going schemes and ventures. It will also provide more agreeable and sympathetic inclinations but also quite notable passions with a polarisation of feelings. That means that animosities, or other more affectionate and understanding emotions will all be exaggerated to a considerable extent so that existing sources of conflict or pleasure will be heightened.

Coming days will see yet further sharpening of the overall mood atmosphere and this month the Full Moon coincides exactly with an alignment between the Moon and Uranus so one may expect a highly turbulent mood picture that will be reflected in the kind of news stories that will be making the headlines in the week to come.
