The current emotional atmosphere is very similar to that of the previous mood alert. Only the changing phase of the Moon together with moderate geomagnetic activity provide any significant change.

As with yesterday it is the continuing alignment of the Sun and Saturn that provides the biggest mood influence. This is likely to result in calculated, disciplined and demure feelings and emotions, but also the likelihood of depressed, indecisive and worrying attitudes that may be filled with lack of confidence, pessimism and insecurity.

It should however be remembered that both the Sun and Saturn are still somewhat in opposition to Uranus, which will introduce erratic, unstable and over excitable feelings with emotions that may show a significant deviation from the norm.

In many respects this represents a clash of opposites with the low inspiration of Saturn countered by the unpredictable but galvanic nature of Uranus. Then again Uranus is capable of quite alarming episodes of turmoil and tribulation with the possibility of extreme tension within the family setting.

Some balance to the above mentioned emotions comes from the ongoing alignment between Mercury and Venus. For some weeks now this has at least brought about some diffusing of more stress filled and contentious emotions with agreeable, friendly and sociable feelings, together with a noticeable degree of intimacy and affection.

Creative energy, zestfulness and enterprise will also be in evidence but these will have to contend with the more restraining effects of the Sun/Saturn alignment mentioned above.

Mars is also in alignment with both Mercury and Venus. As we have continued to say for at least several days now this combination is likely to include quite definite passions with strong, forthright and resourceful qualities, but also a tendency to over forceful, aggressive, and even violent attitudes. This may lead to quite agitated thoughts and feelings, and perceived injustices will be very forcefully addressed.

When it comes to communication with others this will largely be governed by pre-existing conditions which will now be exaggerated to a significant extent. Where for example there is a strong bond of friendship this should be strengthened, but by contrast any source of animosity may well become even more sharply polarised. Coming days will continue along a similar path of emotional influence, but since we shall be approaching the twice monthly period we refer to as the ‘emotional doldrums’ there is the chance that it will be the more restrained, but depressive side of Saturn that may prevail. However there will be more than enough counter influence so ensure that any such traits do not become over oppressive, but this will still continue to be a highly challenging mood atmosphere with quite obvious tensions.
