The next three or four days will see a degree of consistency to moods and emotions, but in this case consistency certainly does not mean a settled mood outlook. Indeed as we have said many times already this period finds itself at the peak of numerous potent planetary alignments that have the potential for extremely sharpened moods and feelings.

The Sun is still very much aligned with Saturn and in opposition to Uranus. With regards to emotions this will create a fluctuating level of contrasting feelings. For example there is the demure, limited and reserved nature of Saturn, contrasted by the more extreme, drastic and unsettled force of Uranus. Saturn is also capable of generating low self confidence and pessimism with doubt filled thoughts that may be prone to depression and melancholia.

On the other hand Uranus can introduce moods and actions that strongly deviate from the norm, and this can lead to rebellious, aggressive and disruptive feelings that will be heightened still further by the consumption of alcohol. Under these circumstances even the most mundane of problems may quickly lead to crisis and extreme situations can arise on the merest pretext.

An illustration of the sort of incident that can arise out of these circumstances is the recent shooting spree in the USA where a crazed gunman killed six people including a deputy Sheriff before being arrested and charged with first degree murder. On this occasion the perpetrator does seem to have had a history of mental health problems, but as we have often mentioned here on these pages, Uranus is nearly always prominent (as it is now) when such incidents occur. The three way alignment between Mercury/Venus and Mars is still very much at a peak and this too is exerting a very apparent effect on moods and emotions. As we said yesterday the likely mood traits to emanate from this combination include quite definite passions with strong, forthright and enterprising qualities, but also a tendency to over forceful, aggressive, and even violent attitudes. This may lead to quite agitated thoughts and feelings, and perceived injustices will be very forcefully addressed.

When it comes to communication with others this will largely be governed by pre-existing conditions which will now be exaggerated to a significant extent. Where for example there is a strong bond of friendship this should be strengthened, but by contrast any source of animosity may well become even more sharply polarised.

Coming days should see a slow diminishing in the intensity of moods and emotions but this may only be at the expense of depressive or anxious feelings, with pessimism and a poor sense of self confidence. On the other hand the more zestful and energetic nature of Mars and Mercury may well help to ensure that feelings don’t become too flattened and on the positive side this will help to retain some enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures.
