This still remains a mood period of the very highest tension, and although the New Moon came and went around two days ago, moods and feelings still remain extremely heightened. In addition the Moon, Mars, Venus, and Mercury are all aligned to within around 5 degrees of one another whereas The Sun is in close alignment with Saturn and at the same time opposed to Uranus.

With regards to moods and emotions this presents a period of the utmost complexity with contrasting and clashing moods and feelings that are difficult to predict.

Even so it is fair to say this period will be one of heightened awareness with alert and attuned emotions that for some may prove to be disturbing. This could for example lead to a very sharpened degree of apprehension so that fears and concerns will be magnified and problems will assume undue dimensions. Added to this there may be doubts and insecurity with an indecisive and hesitant attitude that may be accompanied by low self confidence, pessimism and a certain lack of determination and encouragement.

On the hand the effects of Venus and Mercury still continue to be plainly felt with added affection and friendliness that will act as a buffer against other more aggressive influences from other sources, most notably the Moon/Mars alignment which is now beginning to dissipate.

Once again the effects of Uranus may tend to eccentric, bizarre and out of character thoughts and feelings with the possibility of perverse or unusual modes of behaviour that may have consequences for some time to come. As we have mentioned many times already the effects of Uranus all too easily incline towards extremes, with the potential for drastic solutions and reactions to even mundane or trivial situations.

On the whole it will be moods relating to tense, anxious, or worrying attitudes that may be of greatest concern at this point, and some may feel extremely stressed and at the same time unable to think straight. Coming days will see some lessening in the intensity of emotions but since this period continues to be affected by very potent alignments there will still be an undercurrent of more anxious, aggressive and at times eccentric mood influences as the effects of the latest planetary alignment bloc take full effect.
