Today may see a slight diminishing in the intensity of moods and emotions but this still continues to be a highly complex mood period with several notable alignments that still continue to exert influence.

In many respects this current alert resembles the previous one with the dominant feature being the alignment between Mercury and Venus which are both in opposition to Uranus. As we mentioned yesterday this is leading to an atmosphere where more agreeable, affectionate and harmonious mood feelings are contrasted by altogether more extreme and demanding emotions as Uranus is habitually the planet that leads to a sharp deviation from the norm.

Uranus is also in opposition to Mars at this time and this will inevitably mean that although we are currently heading to what to often refer to as a bi-monthly ‘doldrum,’ period there is a constant threat of drastic and dramatic changes of mood that are capable of very explosive reactions to even the most mundane of situations. Above is a report of the sort of things that can happen, involving previously mild natured people when Uranus is a feature in the alert pattern. Indeed Uranus/Mars oppositions are capable of passionate and excitable moods and feelings with high nervous tensions with feelings that may deviate powerfully from the norm.

The Sun still remains in opposition to Neptune and although this alignment is now beginning to fade it still remains active, with highly sensitive, vulnerable and impressionable mood influences. As well as anything this may create an intuitive and hyper alert degree of awareness with an almost psychic degree of insight together with enhanced spiritual and mystical perception.

Although we are now approaching a period of comparatively reduced intensity this is far from being a relaxed and sedate mood atmosphere. Very definite passions hold sway and the influence of Uranus will ensure that the potential to extreme moods will be a constant accompaniment to a mood atmosphere that may otherwise appear deceptively free of contention.
