Perhaps the principal feature of this present alert pattern is the alignment between Mercury and Venus, both of which are currently in opposition to Uranus.

As with any alignment involving Uranus this one harbours the potential for extremes of experience and although the habitual qualities of Mercury and Venus tend towards an harmonious and agreeable disposition, this will be offset against the more erratic, unpredictable and volatile attributes of Uranus. Indeed there will be a definite propensity towards extremism and nervous upsets, with the possibility of friction and upheaval within the family setting. Effectively it means that problems of an extreme nature may arise with very little provocation and may quickly lead to nasty situations with very little restraint in what is said or done.

The above mentioned situation is further aggravated by the continuing opposition between Mars and Uranus. For over three weeks now this has contributed forceful, passionate, excitable and highly self willed feelings with high nervous tension together with eccentricity and out of character moods and feelings. Under these circumstances it may be hard to establish a rational solution to problems and once ignited passions may be hard to quell. These tensions may be especially notable within relationships and this added strain has created a notable increase in the divorce rate over a comparatively short space of time.

The Sun still remains in opposition to Neptune and although this alignment is now beginning to fade it still remains active, with highly sensitive, vulnerable and impressionable mood influences. As well as anything this may create an intuitive and hyper alert degree of awareness with an almost psychic degree of insight together with enhanced spiritual and mystical perception. However it is also true to say that other problems may swamp ones appreciation of these elements and it may take some effort to find the kind of tranquillity needed to get the best from these inclinations.

All in all this is still a complex mood atmosphere and although it is not quite as strident as just a few days ago there is still enough tense nervous energy to cause problems.
