We are now just four or five days away from the next Full Moon and this will lead to an inevitable rise in tension and anxiety as well as increased nervous restlessness which may already be very much in evidence.

This month the Full Moon influence will also be greatly heightened by numerous on going alignments many of which frequent visitors to this site will already be quite familiar with. The result is likely to be a zestful and energy packed mood environment with alternating emotions that may swiftly change between enthusiastic and optimistic inclinations to more reserved, pessimistic and even depressive mood swings.

Today sees the start of a major alignment featuring Saturn, Venus and Mercury. Over the course of the next few months this will give rise to a whole string of alignments that will add great colour and variety to emotions with a sharp contrast of moods and feelings.

More analytically the Saturn/Venus/Mercury alignment is likely to bring limited, reserved and disciplined emotions with deliberate and logical reasoning, along with coolly affectionate inclinations that will at times be prone to severe depression and melancholia. This however should be balanced against the zestfulness of the coming Full Moon and other influences that will help to ensure that any tendency to flattened emotions will at least have other more forceful moods to prevent ones outlook becoming too negative.

The Saturn/Venus/Mercury is a very complex alignment and even if there may be some tendency towards lowered self confidence, isolation, or even loneliness there will also be extra energy and enthusiasm with more gentle, agreeable and harmonious inclinations that may relate better to the needs of others.

The influence of Neptune which is still very much at the height of its alignment with the Sun, and this is producing refined, delicate, and highly sensitive emotions filled with impressionable and receptive mood influences. As we have mentioned numerous times already, this will lead to enhanced perception and intuition with an almost psychic degree of awareness. In turn this disposes well to self refining thoughts and ideas as well as increased mystical, and spiritual insight. Under these circumstances creative and expressional abilities will be improved and artists may find this period to be laden with renewed vigour and inspiration.

In this Full Moon lead up it is important to remember that Mars and Uranus still remain at the height of their opposition and this continues to have a fundamental effect over moods and emotions. In particular the Mars/Uranus opposition is likely to result in extra belligerence and aggression with moods that may deviate quite powerfully from the norm. Rebellious thoughts and inclinations, together with erratic, self willed and arrogant behaviour may all be apparent and theses traits are likely to become all the more apparent as we move closer to the Full Moon. This alignment also disposes to bizarre, eccentric or out of character moods and behaviour whose consequences may be around for some time to come. One of the more positive aspects of this is that it can encourage people to think in a manner they might not have previously adopted and thus offers the advantage of seeing problems and solutions in a completely different way.

This continues to be a highly complex mood atmosphere and the days leading up to the Full Moon will become progressively filled with tenser and more demanding emotions, but also the mental awareness, alertness, and perception, along with a zestful energy that will add a boost to on going schemes and ventures, or just simply an aid to getting through the day in a more rewarding manner.
