As we have frequently stated over the last week or so this continues to be an extremely heightened mood atmosphere that comes at one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary activity. As a result moods and emotions will tend to reflect raised tensions and anxiety with a disposition to subtle fears and concerns along with notable apprehensions even over the most mundane of matters.

One of the dominant planets at this time is Neptune, which is opposed to both the Sun and also to Mercury and Venus.

Neptune is well known for its receptive and assimilative qualities but also to high sensitivity with refined and delicate emotions that will be prone to nervous upsets and unsettled emotions. There may also be some tendency to mental confusion and chaos with acute escapist tendencies or a disposition to neurotic episodes that may be high on paranoia and suspicion. This may also lead to bouts of self delusion or deceitful behaviour. Neptune can also tend towards feelings of a mystical, or spiritual nature and this may open up new avenues of personal consciousness with increased perception and awareness.

A further tendency to out of character moods and behaviour will come from the on going opposition between Mars and Uranus. This has been active for nearly two weeks and its influence will continue until around the last week of this month. As well as energetic and enterprising moods and feelings this can also result in excitable, erratic and strongly self willed emotions with high nervous restlessness.

As with any alignment associated with Uranus this will also lead to feelings that may strongly deviate from ones normal outlook, with the potential for bizarre, eccentric and even perverse modes of behaviour.

While it is certainly true that some aspects of this current alert pattern may tend towards extremes it is also true that other traits may invite enterprise and initiative with original ideas and inspiration that may be of pivotal future importance. Either way this is a time of bewildering mood complexity with variety and a clash of emotions that are sure to leave their mark in a great number of ways.
