Up until around 17:00 GMT (13:00 EDT) the Moon with be in direct aligmment with Saturn. So far as moods are concerned this will serve to offset some of the more hostile, impetuous or otherwise volatile aspects of this mood pattern but also introduces some of its own drawbacks. Moon/Saturn alignments can lead to self disciplined, controlled and coolly regulated moods and feelings but it can also result in depressive, inhibited and over pessimistic inclinations with low self confidence and esteem.

The reality is that many of the above mentioned feelings will themselves be cross influenced by the power of a highly complex and varied celestial pattern that comes at the climax of one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments. The sum total of this is an equally complex mood scene that is not easy to predict or unravel. Certain to say however that this still represents one of the years most challenging mood periods and one that should be handled with the utmost of care and attention.

In the present mood scene harsher elements such as the aggressive and sometimes erratic and rebellious nature of the Uranus/Mars opposition are contrasted by the delicate and refined nature of the Venus/Neptune opposition. At the same time the more self willed, eccentric and at times perverse and out of character gestures of the former alignment are countered by the idealistic, sensitive and beauty seeking aspirations of the latter. The combination of the two means there may at times be heavy confusion with wandering thoughts and feelings, matched by an indecisive attitude but one with strong feelings that may store up thoughts and ideas for the future.

Under these circumstances there may be neurotic or intensely escapist inclinations that could wreak havoc with a well ordered routine as there may be frequent distractions that could mean that very little may appear to get done. The above mentioned traits will be further emphasised by the start of a slow moving opposition between the Sun and Neptune that will come to prominence over the course of the next three weeks or so.

So far as moods are concerned this will tend to heighten feelings of an impressionable nature, that in tandem with Mercury, may induce feelings of a creative, mystical, or escapist nature. At its most mundane level this may inspire great artistic or expressional effort, whereas at its most intense level it may lead to an extra sense of awareness that may open up new doors of personal enlightenment and enquiry. On the not so positive side this may lead to an easy tendency towards drugs and drink, or indeed any activity with a heavy element of escapism.

Once again this is a highly challenging and at times bewildering mood atmosphere with contradictory influences that may create confusion, chaos, or uncertainty. At the same time there may be an ethereal, almost other worldly atmosphere that may evoke strange and bizarre emotions with peculiar impressions as well as highly vivid dreams and ideas.

Coming days may continue along a similar pattern, with varied moods and feelings that could be very different to what many will have ever experienced.
