Today is the day of the New Moon and this will inevitably mean added tension and anxiety with increased nervous restlessness. On top of this there is likely to be a sensitive and delicate atmosphere together with a highly polarised feelings contrasted between the effects of two planets: Saturn and Venus.

Currently Saturn is aligned with the Sun, and opposed to the Moon, and at the same time in opposition to Uranus. As a result there are likely to be the typical traits associated with Saturn which are for limited, reserved, and restrained mood influences, together with an inhibited, shy, or reserved outlook that may be prone to some melancholia or depression. In reality these moods will be balanced and contrasted by the effects of Uranus, whose tendency to eccentric, bizarre, or out of character behaviour, along with rebellious and erratic emotions mean that despite the more disciplined and sometimes depressive nature of Saturn there will always be enough zest to prevent moods from sinking too far. Today’s alert bulletin.

We are now just over a day away from the New Moon which this month occurs on August 30th at 19:59 GMT, or 14:59 EDT. As a result moods and emotions will be tense and nervy with heightened awareness and perception that some may find disturbing.

This month the New Moon is rendered all the more powerful by numerous planetary alignments in which the highly unsettling effects of Uranus are very strongly indicated.

Other than the impending New Moon the most prominent feature of this current alert period is the alignment between the Sun and Saturn, both of whom are in opposition to Uranus. Likely mood traits to result from this include reserved, disciplined and limited emotional expression, with a tendency to hesitant, shy, or unsure feelings with low self confidence and pessimism. In addition to this there may be a worrying and apprehensive attitude that may see problems rather than solutions, so that any difficulties will tend to be unduly magnified.

Under these circumstances some may experience bouts of depression or insecurity with a lack of resolve and diffidence that could put off making important decisions and choices. Some may also suffer from melancholia or a defeatist attitude that may be hard to avoid. The influence of Uranus in this alignment means there will be emotions that deviate strongly from the norm with rebellious or unstable moods along with a tendency towards drastic or dramatic solutions to even the most trivial of problems. We are now in the immediate run up to the New Moon which this month occurs on August 30th at 19:59 GMT, or 14:59 EDT. Inevitably moods and emotions will be tense and on edge with increased stress and anxiety together with raised nervous restlessness. In addition to this there are likely to be aggressive and belligerent moods and feelings together with the possibility of extreme moods and circumstances.

Under these conditions some may feel on the verge of crisis, though on the more positive side this mood does offer plenty of zestful energy for on going schemes and ventures. Numerous planetary alignments also make this a period of great complexity. As mentioned in previous alert bulletins we are now exiting one bloc of alignment that affected moods over the last month or so only to come under the influence of another. For example we shall very shortly see the alignment of the Sun and Saturn. Regarding moods this is likely to result in restrained, limited, and disciplined inclinations but also a propensity towards poor self confidence, pessimism and a generalised lack of enthusiasm. The major influencing factor of this current alert pattern is the proximity of the New Moon in just two or three days.

With regards to moods and emotions this could just turn out to be an extremely heightened mood period that for some will prove difficult to come to terms with. In fact it is not inconceivable that for a good few people feelings may reach crisis level with extremes of mood and experience.

This atmosphere will be particularly severe where it concerns stress and anxiety with quite notable tensions filled with increased restlessness and apprehension. These feelings will be more apparent in those with a sedentary occupation as others with a more physically inclined daily schedule will naturally shed some of the excess nervous energy that this atmosphere is capable of generating. We are now just three or four days away from the next New Moon, and inevitably this will mean an increase in nervous tensions and anxiety with the potential for extremes of mood and circumstance.

As mentioned several times before, the atmosphere of this months New Moon will also be further heightened by the on going alignment between Venus and Mercury, both of which are currently in opposition to Uranus.

The effects of Uranus need very careful handling and whereas the influence of Mercury and Venus tend towards energetic, quick witted, affectionate and altogether more amiable inclinations, the presence of Uranus can result in agitated and turbulent emotions with erratic, eccentric and out of character moods that will require very careful handling. In addition there may be strong willed, rebellious or aggressive outbursts that may be especially severe where there is the consumption of alcohol. Read the rest of this entry »
