For some this may seem like a bizarre and at times unsettling mood environment with very sensitive and delicate emotions that will easily be disturbed or subject to unusual moods and impulses. It should also be remembered that we are now in a period that falls between the Full Moon and New Moon which we often refer to here as the emotional doldrums.

More precisely this means a period of lowered inspiration and enthusiasm that may be prone to easy disappointment and disillusionment. In addition there may be very strong feelings with a powerful nervous and emotional stimulus.

Most of the impetus from the above mentioned mood traits come from two separate alignments. The first of these is the opposition between Venus and Neptune. As mentioned in a previous alert bulletin this may give way to refined and delicate feelings with idealistic or sentimental traits along with a better sense of harmony and rhythm. This may lead to a fuller appreciation of the finer things in life especially those relating to beauty and rhythm and particularly activities of an artistic nature, whether as a participant or purely as an admirer. Music in particular may assume larger than usual importance with a strong need to communicate or relate to others in a meaningful way.

One of the more dominant features of this period is the opposition between Mars and Uranus. Over the next month or so this will add a strong deviation from the norm with rebellious and strong willed passions together with restless and impatient impulses. As well as anything this could lead to extreme irritability, anger, and aggression, with the potential for very heated arguments and disagreements that will show very little by way of restraint or control. Inevitably this means that the next month is likely to be subject to very heightened moods and feelings with the most intense of emotions that will easily tend towards conflict and friction.

On the more positive side this will add zest to on going schemes and activities. However the enthusiasm generated may be of a highly radical nature with sharp and very ambitious inclinations that will not take well to a contrary opinion.

This is far from being an easy emotional situation, which itself forms but a prelude to even more challenging moods and emotions to come. On the other hand, as we have stated numerous times already there are advantages as well as disadvantages. One of the prime advantages is to be able to think and deliberate with a changed mental outlook that may offer answers and ideas that may not previously have occurred. These may be for better or for worse but the fact is that the current circumstances offer the potential - at least for a limited period - to think and act in a manner that may be slightly different to ones usual disposition.
