The principal feature of the current alert bulletin is the alignment between the Moon and Uranus which is already well underway. At the same time both the Moon and Uranus are also in opposition to Mars. This alignment lasts until around 03:00 GMT on the 23rd of July, or 23:00 EDT on the 22nd of July.

As frequent visitors to this site will be well aware Moon/Uranus alignments are out of the top category of unsettled mood influences and warrant the utmost of care and attention. In fact it is a matter of record that many of the more brutal, heinous, or otherwise eccentric or perverse crimes and murders occur during these periods. If anything the current alignment will be rendered even further hazardous by the inclusion of Mars whose passionate, forceful and aggressive characteristics may not combine too agreeably with what is already a highly combustible mood atmosphere.

Moon/Uranus alignments often display bizarre, eccentric or out of character moods and emotions, and this is where its influence becomes so unpredictable. It means that one may consider answers and solutions to problems of an altogether drastic or extreme nature and it is amazing how many previously law abiding citizens have snapped under the pressure of this alignment to commit crimes of staggering brutality that have shocked everyone involved. Other traits associated with this alignment include changeable, restless highly strung behaviour with frequent and extreme upheaval within the family setting.

As mentioned above today also sees the beginning of the opposition between Mars and Uranus. This will be active for very close to a month and is sure to exert a massive influence on moods and feelings over what is one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments. Likely mood traits to result from this include a strong deviation from the norm with rebellious and strong willed passions together with restless and impatient impulses. As well as anything this could lead to extreme irritability, anger, and aggression with the potential for very heated arguments and disagreements that will show very little by way of restraint or control. Inevitably this means that the next month is likely to be subject to very heightened moods and feelings with the most intense of emotions that will easily tend towards conflict and friction.

On the more positive side this alignment can introduce feelings of unbridled ambition together with a strong desire to succeed and excel. Coupled with a powerful self willed attitude and an energetic galvanically inclined enthusiasm there will be all the right ingredients to accomplish a great deal and provided the effects of this alignment can be channelled correctly there is no reason why this should not turn out to be an uniquely rewarding period.

Another positive side to Uranus is that it encourages to think in a different way and thus offer solutions or ideas for activities and pursuits that one may never previously have considered. However there is a perpetual need for caution as the same energy that can inspire and enthuse may all too easily lead to extremely testing circumstances.

Some may find the current atmosphere filled with an unmistakable sense of anticlimax, depression or futility. This is probably because the last week as been filled with highly pressurised emotions and when this relaxes there may be a tendency to feel low with flattened emotions that may be short on enthusiasm and inspiration. However, as the above mentioned details show this may soon give way to altogether more zestful and energetic moods that although tending towards extremes will offer the possibility of limitless ideas and alternatives.
