We are now just a matter of four or five days away from the Full Moon and as a result moods are beginning to become tense and anxious with heightened awareness and perception. In addition there may be an increased sense of zest and enthusiasm with renewed vigour for on going schemes and ventures.

The reality is however that we are still in the midst of the powerful alignment between Mars and Saturn and its influence is adding further strength to the growing Full Moon atmosphere. As stated numerous times already in previous alert bulletins, the Mars/Saturn alignment is an influence of opposites which may create a frustrating and indecisive mood period that although filled with enthusiastic thoughts and ideas may also be prone to significant doubt and insecurity.

In effect this will be a sharply polarised mood pattern with energy and inspiration that can be both constructive or destructive in equal measure. As to which may predominate will largely be down to personal character and circumstances but suffice it to say that this period may prove determinative with consequences or benefits that may be around for a long time to come.

At the very best Mars/Saturn alignments can instil a sensible, ordered and practical approach, but at its worst there may be cruel, violent, selfish, and self centred attitudes with unscrupulous hard edged ambition that may be to the detriment of finer and more balanced emotions. Placed together these two planets form an uneasy combination with likely conflicts of character, as well as inner turmoil as the opposing traits exert their influence. For example there may well be a strong exhortation to better ones circumstances but equally an insecurity filled outlook that may see problems at every turn and a less than positive attitude in confronting them.

During the early part of the week, and in the period moving up to the Full Moon on the 18th of July there is a continuous series of Lunar alignments and also the beginning of the opposition between Jupiter and Mercury. This may give rise to a thoughtful and philosophical attitude with good judgement and a stronger nervous disposition that may better handle problems and dilemmas. It may also instil optimistic and expansive mental expression though there may be a tendency towards careless judgement and exaggeration.

Certain to say that the week will be one of colourful moods and variety that although filled with typical Full Moon tensions and anxiety should also show considerable energy and optimism.
