This still continues to be a time of heightened emotional insecurity that for some will have the potential to reach extremes. In addition there will be tense nervous restlessness that could make it difficult to relax and settle. Coupled to this there may be quite notable anxieties or irrational fears and impressions with increased awareness and perception.

The above mentioned traits give some indication of the complex celestial pattern that now exerts a very strong influence over moods and feelings. For example Mars is now moving to the peak of its alignment with Saturn and in a sense this will create very polarised emotions with widely contrasting extremes. An example is the strong discipline of Saturn contrasted by the more impassioned nature of Mars. Likewise the hurried, brash and more assertive elements of Mars are opposed by the more reserved and demure attitudes of Saturn.

Inevitably this clash of emotions will lead to confusion and frustration - the feeling of being full of bold ambition whereas at the same time riddled with doubts, caution or insecurity.

The Mars/Saturn alignment can also lead to cruel or unscrupulous acts with an authoritarian streak that may be filled with selfish, self serving motives, that could result in a ‘me first’ attitude. Mars is also in opposition to Neptune and this will heighten the more extreme elements of fear and anxiety so that all problems may appear magnified and assume undue proportions. It will also lead to energetic and sensitive moods and feelings with increased emotional confusion.

Some measure of relief from the harsher aspects of this period will come from the on going opposition between Venus and Jupiter which is now at a peak. Likely mood traits to result from this include a more generous and expansive disposition with greater qualities of charm and popularity.Obviously this will relate well to all social occasions and dealings with others, and help to foster a mood conducive to good fun and entertainment. However this influence will also have to contend with the more harsher elements outlined above so unfortunately its effects will not be as forcefully apparent as it would otherwise be.

This still continues to be a difficult and challenging mood atmosphere that harbours the potential for extremes of mood and circumstance. As a result frustrations may be running high. Added to this it may prove difficult to concentrate and giving ones fullest attention to anything will require the greatest of discipline. Some may also find this atmosphere slightly depressing or filled with over sensitive moods and feelings with recollections and reflections that may be laden with the nostalgia of long forgotten memories.

If anything coming days will see an even greater complexity of emotion. We should also remember that the New Moon influence has still not run its course and this period is still subject to the most intense of influence.
