Happy 4th of July to all who celebrate.

Today will see a continuation of the tense and anxious conditions of previous days and although there may just be a slight diminishing of their intensity, it will be only slight. As a result there is likely to be an atmosphere of heightened nervous restlessness with notable fears and anxieties. In addition there will be a an unmistakable sense of urgency and problems will appear magnified or assume undue proportions.

Under these circumstances there will be a tendency to irrational fears and concerns and some of these have the potential to assume obsessive proportions that could make it difficult to settle or feel at ease. Predominantly this may involve worries over health or financial issues and any difficulties may appear to loom large.

Venus still continues at the height of its opposition with Jupiter and this will instil a more affable and affectionate mood atmosphere that will readily dispose itself to a convivial atmosphere and a propensity to good fun and entertainment. On the other hand this alignment can also tend towards extravagance and over generosity with exaggerated or careless gestures that may lead to mistakes and accidents. There is a further risk of vulgar tastes and attitudes with a heightened sense of vanity and passion.

Mars still remains in alignment with Saturn and in opposition to Neptune. With regards to moods this is creating a disciplined and self assertive atmosphere with controlled emotion that will tend towards practical or materialistic inclinations with a strongly ambitious qualities. However feelings may all to easily incline towards cruel or selfish behaviour with unscrupulous or even violent tendencies.

It will be seen that the present atmosphere is filled with contrasting impulses with the possibility of strong mental confusion and lack of concentration that will make it difficult to focus on the task in hand . As a result it may prove frustrating to keep to an established routine as there will be a strong desire for change and variety.

On the more positive side this period offers the greatest of potential to effect major changes as well as weigh up ones overall perspective with a view to achieving a better sense of direction and well being. At the same time there may be very pressing concerns and anxieties but also the ability to have fun and enjoy the simple things with some degree of satisfaction.

Certainly this is by no means the easiest of atmospheres but with the correct degree of balance it could provide an opening to a better and more rewarding future.
