For the second day running this atmosphere may well equate to the equivalent of the emotional doldrums with no great highs or lows and with a restricted emotional outlook. This follows the current phase of the Moon which is just around mid way between the Full Moon and the next New on July 3rd.

With regards to moods and feelings there may be a limited, not to say inhibited emotional range that for some may tend towards depression or melancholia. It can also result in lowered self confidence and enthusiasm with not quite the same zest and determination for on going tasks and ventures. Consequently it may feel harder to get going with a reduced senses of inspiration for even ones favourite pursuits. In addition there may be an easy sense of disappointment or disillusionment and although there may be an urge to embark on new and more exciting ventures the first problems may prove too discouraging to surmount.

This current atmosphere will suit a vacational mood or those who are able to place few demands on their time and efforts and are basically able to sit back and relax according to an unhurried routine. On the other hand those under a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured with the added burden of poor concentration together with escapist inclinations that will easily be distracted by other more instantly rewarding alternatives.

Mars remains at the peak of its opposition with Neptune and this is creating a sensitive and energetically inclined mood pattern, so that despite the more sedate moods of this time there may be an undercurrent of more unsettled feelings that may be hard to ignore. This may be capable of bringing irrational fears with some confusion of thought and purpose so that decisions may be harder to reach or else will not benefit from the best of consideration. In addition there may be a strong self refining impulse that may be disposed to putting right faults or short comings in ones behaviour and outlook. This may also lead to a strong desire for change and variety, or the yearning for new and more exciting experiences.

Another element of the Mars/Neptune opposition is to create strong impressions and feelings with increased awareness and perception, or feelings that approximate to surreal or even psychic intuition. Under these circumstances there may be powerful degree of abstract thought with creative or artistic impulses capable of very original expression.

The Sun is still in alignment with Venus, but the force of this conjunction is now beginning to diminish. Even so its qualities of increased affection and sympathy will still be apparent and capable of arousing romantically inclined emotions or increased feelings of an intimate or carnal nature. Over the last month this alignment has proved beneficial in adding a degree of balance and harmony to otherwise harsher emotions and provided a pleasure inclined twist to the overall mood scene.

Coming days should continue with similarly disposed feelings, but before long the impending New Moon will begin to exert it s influence with more zestful moods and emotions.
