What a difference just 24 hours can make to the overall mood scene. Only yesterday the emphasis was on the extreme moods of the Moon/Uranus alignment and now that this is over there is an altogether quieter mood environment that for many will come as a welcome respite after the intensity of the last week. Indeed this phase of the Moon, around 50% illuminated is often described here as a period akin to the ‘emotional doldrums’ with few great highs or lows.

Under these circumstances there may be all the right ingredients to suit those wanting to relax or else work according to a sedate and unhurried pace. On the other hand those on a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured as it will require extra effort and determination to achieve the same level of output that would have come quite naturally only several days ago.

Another propitious factor of this period is the continuing alignment between the Sun and Venus. This is now well passed its peak but still remains influential. For just over a month this has led to a more agreeable and understanding atmosphere with a greater sense of sympathy and affection. It has also cultivated a romantic, and a times sensuous pleasure seeking atmosphere that at the very least has ensured that the harsher elements of this period have not become too intense. This alignment is now on the wane and in the coming week will fade altogether.

Mars and Neptune still remain at the height of their opposition and this is generating a degree of confusion with sensitive and vulnerable feelings that are prone to irrational fears and apprehensions. As mentioned in previous alert bulletins this alignment can produce powerful self refining emotions that may act as a time of reflection to weigh up and change those areas of ones outlook that may be less than agreeable.

One of the more positive aspects of this alignment is its energetic mixture of increased awareness and perception coupled with the resolve and imagination to effect lasting changes. This may now to made all the more easier by the fact that the long term opposition between Saturnand Neptune is now at an end. For close on three months this may have acted as an inhibiting factor regarding progress and development and one may now feel freer to think and effect changes that for some time may have been hampered by an atmosphere of doubt and insecurity.

The last 24 hours have seen an increased Solar wind stream that is buffeting this planets atmosphere. This has led to moderate levels of geomagnetic activity and sometimes this can have definite physical and psychological effects. Mentally these can range from increased irritability and short tempered behaviour to forgetful or confused episodes with reduced concentration.

Physically this can sometimes result in sudden dizziness, palpitations, neuralgic pains, headache or tooth ache or just feeling ill for no apparent reason. This may also be accompanied by feelings of fatigue or lethargy or by contrast high restlessness that may eventually lead to tiredness and trouble in relaxing. At times like this it may seem like a thousand thoughts are whirling through ones mind and it may not be easy to filter out unwanted influences.

It should be pointed out that if the above mentioned symptoms are due to increased geomagnetic activity they will be of short duration only and if persisting for longer than a few days are likely to be of some other origin.

Alert is 7. Moon 50% illuminated
