The principal feature of this current alert is the opposition between the Moon and Saturn. This will stay active until around 20:30 GMT, or 16:30 EDT. Likely mood traits to result from this include a more restrained and disciplined outlook with rigid or emotionally restricted disposition. Although this will serve to lower the heightened mood atmosphere of the last week or so it may also induce emotions that could tend towards melancholia or depression. In addition there is likely to be a diminished sense of confidence with timid or reserved gestures along with pessimistic inclinations.

Other emotions include deeply self conscious awareness and a sense of ones own personal limitations. Above all this may invite sensitive and self recriminatory feelings with the idea that events, or life in general may be passing you by.

Taken on its own the above mentioned opposition would tend to generate a rather morose and defeatist atmosphere but fortunately this is balanced by other sources that inspire a more zestful mentality. In particular there is the continuing alignment between the Sun and Venus. Although this is now coming to its close it still remains influential and for close on the last month it has produced more agreeable and pleasure seeking moods that at the very least have ensured that the harsher elements of this period were not as extreme as they might otherwise have been.
