One of the principal features of this current alert is the continuing alignment between the Moon and Neptune. This has been active for close to 24 hours and its period of influence will persist until around 19:00 GMT, or 15:00 EDT. Likely mood traits to result from this include extreme emotional sensitivity with unstable or vulnerable emotions that may be prone to doubts and insecurity.

In addition there will be a firm tendency towards escapism so that ones daily routine may be subject to considerable distraction and it will not be easy to focus on the task in hand. As a result it may prove harder to get going and jobs may be left unfinished or hurriedly disposed of to a lower than usual standard of efficiency. As well as this there may be a disposition towards deceit or even neurotic inclinations that may involve intensely irrational fears and anxieties.

During the whole of the above mentioned period the Moon will also be in opposition to Mars and the two will remain conjunct until around 07:00 GMT, or 03:00 EDT on the 24th of June. This is likely to result in more aggressive moods and feelings with easily impassioned attitudes that may tend towards intolerant, impatient or aggressive gestures.

On the more positive side this alignment is likely to foster more energetic and robust attitudes with an improved sense of confidence and optimism. However on occasions these emotions may well spill over into arrogance or over zealous behaviour that could be objectionable to others. Certain to say this will be a forceful and direct mood environment with easily ignitable moods and irritability that could lead to friction and needless arguments.

Fortunately the above mentioned disposition to aggression will be greatly balanced by the on going alignment of the Sun and Venus. For well over three weeks this has brought more agreeable and balanced emotions with a better sense of sympathy and understanding. This alignment has also contributed to friendlier and more affectionate moods with a notable disposition towards intimacy and romance. At the very least this pleasure seeking influence has helped to calm some of the more harsher elements of this period and prevented them from becoming too extreme.

As on previous days this may not be the easiest of mood atmospheres but there may be a noticeable climb down in the intensity of moods after the Full Moon of around four days ago. Added to this the zest of Mars may add a degree of optimism and determination though it could prove difficult to concentrate and one may easily be side tracked especially by distracting influences that appear to offer instant emotional rewards.

Coming days will see yet more of a decline in the intensity of moods, but the 25th of June will be subject to the extreme nature of Uranus as it aligns with the Moon. However the Sun and Venus will offer some restraint and towards the end of the week moods should have a much calmer feel to them.
