We are now less then 48 hours away from the next Full Moon and moods are correspondingly tense and anxious with increased nervous restlessness. Inevitably this will also mean raised fears and concerns so that problems will be more evident than solutions and any difficulties will be magnified to an undue level. Under these circumstances it may prove difficult to concentrate on the task in hand, and this atmosphere will suit physical tasks rather than those requiring a high degree of mental dexterity.
There is no disguising the fact that some may find this to be a highly uncomfortable mood atmosphere with challenging emotions that may be prone to nervous upsets, panic attacks or bouts of mental agitation. Not surprisingly it could prove harder to cope and those susceptible to sensitive atmospheres may find this period to be particularly unsettling.
Above all this atmosphere will exhibit heightened perception and awareness with sharp and penetrating emotions that may occasionally become too strong for comfort. This may easily lead to the desire to take the edge off the atmosphere through either eating or drinking more than usual or through dozens of other coping strategies.
On the more positive side this mood pattern offers considerable zestful energy for on going schemes and ventures, though concentration will not be high and coping with this powerful mood environment could prove distracting.
The Sun still remains in alignment with Venus and this will at least contribute more agreeable moods and feelings. As we have mentioned many times before this is also likely to create a strong need for intimacy and affection and will sharpen ones sense of sympathy and understanding . As well as anything this could mean that the more aggressive Full Moon attributes will not be quite as intense though bad tempered, irritable or confrontational moods can never be ruled out. Indeed these will be all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol. Here it should be warned that the effects of alcohol will be magnified and since there will also be a temptation to drink more than usual then alcohol fuelled disruption is a firm likelihood. By the same token the effects of caffeine will be considerably heightened and even moderate intake may increase ones anxiety levels to a noticeable extent.
As mentioned above this is likely to prove a challenging period of moods and emotions with notable frustration and anxiety. However there is also the possibility that if these energies are balanced correctly and make use of the more dynamic elements of this period then it will not prove anywhere near as stressful. In effect this is the key to any period of heightened moods and feelings; the absorption in activities that are able to stimulate a sense of well being sufficient to neutralise other more damaging influences. Here the secret is in the balance, or ‘everything to measure is perfection,’ pan metron ariston as the ancient Greeks would say.
Alert is 8. Moon 95% illuminated.
