Tensions may be running high ahead of the Full Moon on the 18th of the month. As a result there is likely to be tense nervous restlessness with increased stress and anxiety.

Under these circumstances even minor problems may be the catalyst for major concerns or arguments and there is the possibility that feelings may run to extremes. In addition there is the potential for increased aggression with forceful and confrontational outbursts that may easily turn violent. These will be especially likely where there is the consumption of alcohol and the situation will not be made easier by the fact that these circumstances will induce increased alcohol consumption as a means of dealing with the powerful mood swings that this atmosphere is capable of generating.

The fact is we are now heading for one of the years most intense periods of planetary alignments and this is sure to result in a short but intense period of emotional instability. This will have a focus on the week ahead, as the Full Moon will be followed by a series of Lunar alignments that are sure to guarantee a roller coaster of emotions that although challenging will also bring more positive traits that could offer an outlet for the undoubted frustrations and tension that the next week will bring.

The Sun still remains very much at the peak of its alignment with Venus and this is contributing to more agreeable and pleasure seeking feelings that will act as a firm counter to the more strident Full Moon emotions. In addition this will mean an affectionate and more understanding attitude together with a need for intimacy that may lead to new relationships, affairs, or the rekindling of existing friendships. Above all it may mean the pleasure of like minded company that will be especially welcome in what is a particularly stressful period of moods and feelings. However there is also the risk that any amorous or romantic intentions may be misapplied or inappropriately expressed with embarrassing or frustrating consequences.

Some doubts and misgivings may still cause problems but any lack of confidence that may have existed over previous days is likely to find more forceful expression in the Full Moon atmosphere that is quickly becoming the dominant feature of the current mood scene.

Mars and Neptune are now almost at the peak of their opposition and this will manifest itself in heightened sensitivities or self refining gestures that could sew seeds for future changes of a lasting nature. This alignment can also tend towards self delusion, confusion, as well as irrational fears and concerns that may easily result in panic attacks and mental agitation.

On the more positive side this atmosphere offers considerable creative and artistic energy, that will act as a boost to any activity of an expressional nature. Similarly there may be an intense desire for variety and change with inclinations towards travel or new experiences.

This may not be the easiest of mood situations and the current period may be filled with a difficult or unpleasant sense of awareness. Nevertheless there are two sides to this mood and the other is of an opportunity to savour or evaluate new and exciting possibilities that could bring answers to some weighty dilemmas.
