We are now commencing the rise to the next Full Moon which this month comes on June 18th GMT. As a consequence there will tend to be a noticeable escalation in general tension and anxiety. In addition there will be increased nervous restlessness that could make it hard to settle or feel at ease.

With the coming of the Full Moon atmosphere there may also be an apparent rise in zestful moods and emotions that may act as a boost to on going schemes and ventures. In keeping with most Full Moon environments more aggressive moods and inclinations may not be slow to exert their influence and in the days ahead these will become ever more evident. Even now there is a raised potential for arguments, though restraint from other factors may prevent any conflict from becoming too extreme.

Some lingering effects of what we often refer to as the ‘doldrum period’, usually occurring when the Moon is between 40 to 60 % illuminated may still be apparent. As a consequence some may find a disposition to flattened moods and enthusiasm together with lowered optimism or self esteem. Under these circumstances self confidence may be less than optimal and ones horizon may be filled with petty doubts and misgivings, or an unnecessarily bleak view of ones future prospects. There may also be a tendency to self pity or self recrimination so that all problems may appear magnified.

Mars and Neptune are heading towards the peak of their opposition and this is generating sensitive and energetic mood impulses. It can also result in confused, chaotic, or frustrating emotional experiences and it may be hard to evaluate things in an objective manner. One consequence is that decisions may be hard to reach or even avoided altogether and this indecision could cause genuine domestic upheaval as there will also be a loathing for positions, or circumstances, that require a high degree of authority or responsibility.

The Sun still remains at the peak of its alignment with Venus and as frequent visitors to this site will know this is creating an intense desire for affection and sympathy. It may also produce a pleasure seeking mood period with romantic inclinations or a flirtatious disposition that could lead to highly intimate circumstances. Here there is a risk of powerful but misdirected attentions or sudden affairs that may store up significant problems for the future. Indeed this tendency towards intimacy may be rendered even more intense through a current disposition to escapism which may also be addressed through eating or drinking more than usual as a means of taking the edge off the atmosphere.

As mentioned above coming days should see more zestful but also more stress laden emotions. Added to this we are also heading for yet another of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments and this will be evident in a period of highly varied moods and feelings.
