We are gradually heading towards another of the years most concentrated periods of celestial activity which will culminate around the time of the next Full Moon around the 18th of June.

Even now the celestial pattern is one of gathering complexity. Not only are we still under the influence of New Moon tensions of just several days ago, but there is the added stimulus of the Sun/Venus/Mercury alignment to contend with, and also the effects of a new conjunction, that of the opposition between Mars and Neptune.

Inevitably the sum total of these alignments is to create a complex and at times demanding combination of emotions with contrasting features that will form the basis for moods over the coming weeks. For the moment New Moon tensions will still be very evident with notable fears and anxieties along with increased apprehension and anxiety. This will contribute to a sensitive and vulnerable mood atmosphere that will be prone to sudden upsets, irrational fears, doubts and insecurities.

Under these circumstances problems will tend to be magnified and assume undue dimensions. In addition it may prove hard to settle with intense nervous restlessness accompanied by an intense desire for variety and change. Consequently there may be an above average desire for travel or to sample new and different experiences. On the other hand there may be a loathing for dull convention and ones daily routine may be subject to frequent distractions or escapist tendencies that could prove impossible to resist. Similarly there may be raised perception with heightened alertness, and intuitive thoughts and impressions that may border on the psychic. For some this could prove unsettling, and some may want to take the edge off the atmosphere by drinking more than usual.

The continuing alignment between the Sun and Venus will mean increased sympathy and understanding together with the need for affection or intimacy. In turn this may lead to flirtatious inclinations with thoughts of love or romance, though these are sure to be cross influenced by some of the other elements of this mood pattern that may lead to disappointment, embarrassment or misdirected attentions.

The Sun/Venus alignment may also instil a firmer sense of values and could help sort out long term habits that one may be eager to be rid of. Added to this there may be an appreciation of the finer things in life, with pleasure seeking activities, or else a disposition towards artistic or creative pursuits.

This may not be one of the easiest mood atmospheres and indeed some may find it a challenge to cope. On the other hand it does offer plenty of dynamic energy and provided one can utilise it appropriately then many of the more intense elements of this alert pattern will not seem so acute.
