The dominant feature of this current alert pattern is the continuing alignment between the Moon and Uranus. The two will remain conjunct until around 18:00 GMT (14:00 EDT) and as mentioned in the previous alert bulletin this has important mood implications for the whole of this immediate period.

Frequent visitors to this site will know that in our opinion Moon/Uranus alignments are out of the top category of unsettling mood bringers. In fact it is no exaggeration to say that many of the more grotesque, bizarre, or seemingly inexplicable murders and crimes occur under the influence of Moon/Uranus alignments. As such this period deserves to be viewed with the utmost caution as events of an extreme nature can occur with stunning rapidity.

The principal features of Moon/Uranus alignments are for bizarre, eccentric or out of character moods and emotions together with unsettled, highly strung, or emotionally charged inclinations. In addition there may be a tendency for drastic solutions to even mundane or trivial problems, and also the potential for extreme upheaval within the family setting.

Part of the danger connected with Moon/Uranus alignments is that although the atmosphere may appear free of noticeable friction it requires very little provocation to produce the most extreme of reactions. Added to this there is the fact that under this influence ones normal sense of perspective may be significantly altered with fewer inhibitions and therefore noticeably less restraint towards acting in a manner that one may never otherwise consider.

Once again some measure of restraint may come from the influence of the on going alignment between the Sun and Venus. This is likely to instil more sympathetic and understanding moods and emotions, but may also lead to an intense need for intimacy or affection. The risk is that coupled with the more extreme nature of Uranus, these feelings may be misdirected and thereby cause considerable upset or lead to embarrassing situations whose consequences may be around for some time to come.

On the more positive side this atmosphere offers considerable energy and enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures, as well as ideas and plans for future activities or interests. Creative or artistic abilities will be enhanced and this period will offer a significant boost to all activities of an expressional nature. The only problem is that this atmosphere has a marked tendency towards escapist inclinations and this will prove distracting, especially for ones normal routine as there will be the competing interest of other more instantly rewarding alternatives.
