Today will see a noticeably more zestful and enthusiastic mood atmosphere than previous days. As a result there will be less of the insecure and unsure mood environment, and rather more forceful and dynamic qualities with a brighter sense of optimism. Even so there is still need to be wary. Fragile and delicate feelings may still be evident and although there is a stronger and more determined feel to the atmosphere there is still the possibility of unstable thoughts and actions.

Perhaps the principal element of this alert period is the impending opposition between the Moon and Uranus. The two planets will become conjunct around 17:00 GMT or 13:00 EDT and will remain in opposition for around 36 hours.

Frequent visitors to this site will know that Moon/Uranus alignments are out of the top category of unsettling mood influences, and although this is an opposition rather than a direct alignment most of the expected mood traits will be the same. As a result there may be a period of bizarre, unusual, or out of character moods and emotions with changeable, restless and emotionally charged feelings that some may find difficult to cope with. Here it must be stressed that unlike previous days there will be a sudden boost in zest and enthusiasm and even galvanic highly-strung energy that will be a definite boost to on going tasks and ventures.

Under these circumstances there may be a plethora of thoughts and ideas, with plenty of inspiration to gets things done. However there is also likely to be an unrealistic view of ones true capabilities and over ambitious inclinations may later come crashing against a hefty wall of reality once this alignment has run its course. Hence it pays to be cautious before embarking on ventures that may be hastily conceived and likely to involve major changes or the expenditure of large sums of money. Unfortunately the likelihood is there will be very little restraint in pushing forward with any new plans and ideas as the sheer restlessness of this atmosphere will be hard to avoid.

Moon/Uranus alignments are also noted for their deeply unsettling effects upon domestic harmony and supreme care should be taken to avoid circumstances that may result in major arguments or a state of upheaval that is all too common with this alignment.

The last 24 hours are a forceful illustration of how quickly moods can change according to altering celestial factors. Only 24 hours ago it was the restrained if depressive force of Saturn that held sway over moods and emotions, and now it is the more dynamic but potentially unsettling effects of Uranus that are about to assume the upper hand.
