Although moods and emotions are still inclined towards nervous tension and anxiety the overall mood setting may not be quite as intense as previous days. However there is still need to be wary, as the New Moon atmosphere is still very much in evidence and has the potential to cause significant problems.
Under these circumstances there is likely to be raised nervous restlessness so that problems may appear more urgent or demanding than they really are. In addition there will be an increased degree of sensitivity so that personal criticism or perceived injustices will be more upsetting than they normally would be.
As with any immediate post New Moon setting there is also the potential for raised tempers and emotional outbursts, though these may be more inclined towards irritability and frustration rather than outright aggression or confrontation. Nevertheless under the appropriate circumstances bitter arguments may develop and although these are likely to be of a spontaneous rather than premeditated nature there may be little restraint in what is said or done.
In some respects this is an atmosphere that may engender a low sense of satisfaction and achievement from ones efforts, as there may be an easy sense of disappointment or disillusionment. As such this is still very much an atmosphere that will suit those able to place few demands on their time and efforts and able to amble along at a sedate and unhurried pace. By contrast those on a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured.
Concentration is likely to be far from optimal and it may prove difficult to focus on the task in hand. As a result there is likely to be intense distraction towards other activities of a more exciting nature, particularly those that may offer instant emotional rewards and gratification in contrast to what may seem like the dull monotony of ones everyday tasks and routine.
The present emotional climate may also lead to raised fears and concerns with worry and apprehension a likely accompaniment to even the most trivial of problems. Indeed difficulties will be magnified and likely to appear more important that they really are. In fact this increased sensitivity and insecurity may cause the mind to work overtime in a confused and chaotic state of turbulence that may result in definite symptoms of tension such as irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, palpitations, or just feeling more than usually susceptible to stress and strain.
Coming days are likely to see a gradual decline in the intensity of emotions as we head towards a brief but significant period of calmer moods and emotions.
Alert is 8. Moon 5% illuminated.
