One of the dominant features of this current alert is the continuing opposition between the Moon and Mars. The two will remain aligned until around 06:00 GMT (01:00 EDT) and likely mood traits will include raised passions and emotions with increased nervous restlessness. In addition there is the likelihood of energetic and swift responses with a keen sense of like and dislike.

As well as anything this may give way to out spoken or confrontational behaviour with an intolerant disposition that may easily result in arguments or contentious encounters. It should also be remembered that Mars is also in opposition to Jupiter and this will heighten the above mentioned traits and make them all the more apparent. Under these conditions arguments may erupt quite spontaneously and have the potential to become extremely heated with little restraint in what is said or done.

One element of this period may be an extremely unsettled outlook with feelings that could swiftly range from strong enthusiasm and determination to depressive or melancholic emotions with an easy sense of discouragement or disillusionment. In addition there may be acute emotional frustration so that problems may appear magnified and beyond resolution. In turn this may fuel an atmosphere of petty fears and concerns with apprehensions whose intensity may verge upon the neurotic.

Once again this will not be one of the easiest of mood atmospheres to negotiate, even if the general trend in the days ahead is for slightly less stressful moods and emotions. Even so it is worth noting that next week will see the Moon align with Neptune, Saturn (opposition) and Uranus in successive days and this will inevitably create a roller coaster of emotions that for some could prove to be extremely challenging; but more on this will follow in future alert bulletins.

For the moment the tendency may be for frustrating or tedious moods that will respond poorly to pressure, but which once again will suit those able to take things at their own pace without undue strain or effort.
