We are now entering a short period of three to four days where moods and emotions will follow approximately the same pattern. During this time any variations will likely come from the diminishing effects of the New Moon of just several days ago.

Currently there is still enough of the New Moon influence to cause problems and this will likely result in some tension and anxiety with heightened emotions laden with strong nervous restlessness. Under these circumstances it may feel difficult to settle and this could prove to be a frustrating period of competing emotions that in some cases will tend to cancel each other out.

This mood still carries the potential for very strident emotions of a turbulent nature and these may have the propensity for increased aggression and anxiety. Indeed there may be a tendency towards needless arguments and a state of belligerence that may brim with petty resentments.

The more confrontational elements of the current mood scene will also be fuelled by the on going opposition between Mars and Jupiter. This can result in very powerful moods and feelings with forceful and assertive behaviour that will be prone to extremism and a superiority complex that will be especially noticeable in matters relating to political, religious or humanitarian issues, or indeed any activities where there is a strong sense of mission of a reformist nature.

The Mars/Jupiter alignment may also offer a zealous streak of high energy to pursue on going schemes and ventures as well as a carefree attitude to actively enjoy life. However this may be at the expense of a careless and reckless attitude that may invite mistakes and accidents, or substantial financial losses.

The counter side to this atmosphere is influence of the opposition between Saturn and Neptune. This will be around for some months to come and will lead to reduced enthusiasm as well as a stifling of initiative and creative impulse. Other traits include extreme emotional frustration with poor concentration, together with lowered self confidence and self esteem. Obviously this is in direct contrast to the influence of the Mars/Jupiter opposition mentioned above and only serves to show what a complex period this really is.

The likelihood is that according to circumstances both elements will be noticeable and moods may swiftly range from bold enthusiasm with strong determination to a state of easy disillusionment where problems weigh heavily on the mind. Inevitably this may lead to varying degrees of confusion with problems in reaching decisions, that will certainly not benefit from the best of consideration.
