New Moon tensions will dominate this current alert pattern with heightened stress and anxiety as well as increased nervous restlessness. This means there will be an raised sense of awareness and perception, and feelings will be on edge making it difficult to settle and relax. Despite this there is also the potential for zestful energy with renewed enthusiasm and determination for on going schemes and ventures.

Under these circumstances feelings will be acutely felt and moods may be exaggerated so that problems and joys will all be magnified. This will be especially so where there is the consumption of alcohol as this could lead to the release of particularly strong moods and feelings. In addition there may be an added sense of urgency to ones emotions, even if in some cases there may be little idea where this urgency may best be applied.

The alignment between Mercury, Venus and Uranus is finally beginning to unravel and this will reduce some intensity from what has been an extremely heightened mood period. However tomorrow sees the alignment of the Moon and Uranus and although this is of short duration only, it is definitely one of the most disruptive of the routine monthly Lunar alignments. Likely mood traits include very changeable and unstable moods and feelings along with bizarre, eccentric, or out of character behaviour that may all too easily lead to extreme experiences.

For some this may result in dramatic, or otherwise desperate feelings with some hysteria or sense of panic. Others may experience a galvanic sense of purpose and enterprise with zealous energy that may be of enormous inspiration. Also possible is a state of domestic upheaval with the possibility of arguments or rebellious behaviour that could lead to splits or separations. It is also likely that the proximity of the New Moon will heighten this propensity for contention and the next few days will see a very heightened risk of major conflict.

The above mentioned traits concerning aggression and belligerence will be made all the more acute by the developing opposition between Mars and Jupiter. The alignment of the two planets is for some synonymous with war and strife, and certainly there will be an added sense of turmoil and confrontation with bullying, boisterous, or very assertive moods and feelings. These may have an air of superiority to them and those of a bombastic, headstrong inclination will find added fuel to express themselves even more loudly than usual. There will also be a tendency to unnecessary risk taking and this could lead to accidents or large financial losses.

Some measure of restraint may come from the actions of Saturn which is now in opposition to Neptune. Although this may create acute emotional frustration it may also dampen some of the more extreme moods traits of this period, although this may be at the expense of some mental confusion or chaos.

All in all this is a very sharpened mood period, with noticeable contrasts that can swiftly change between widely differing emotions. Very enthusiastic feelings with strong determination may quickly be contrasted by more diffident and unsure emotions with heavy pessimism. Similarly there may be a tendency to carefree attitudes with a strong element of escapism that may be contrasted by an over bearing sense of responsibility and duty. It all goes to show how complex this mood really is, and the only certainty is that the next few days will be even more acutely felt and experienced.
