One of the principal features of this present alert is the opposition between Mars and the Moon. The pair will remain in conjunction until around 19:00 GMT (14:00 EDT) on the 30th of March and will have a determinative effect on moods and feelings throughout this period.
Likely mood traits to result from this include a keen sense of like and dislike with easily aroused passions that will be prone to nervous restlessness, impatience and irritability. In addition there may be increased aggression with the likelihood of arguments and heightened awareness and perception.
The above mentioned feelings will be made all the more forceful by the continuing alignment between Venus, Mercury and Uranus. This has been influential now for several weeks and has led to extremely strong moods and emotions. Uranus in particular is renowned for its bizarre, eccentric, or out of character mood traits and this can lead to extreme situations of a highly desperate nature. This could result in tension or conflict within the family setting and reach such proportions where splits or separations within relationships become inevitable. This alignment can also lead to perverse acts of an immoral nature with the potential for illicit affairs and other ill judged ventures and activities.
Saturn and Neptune are now settling into long term opposition and this means that moods will be subject to the risk of acute emotional frustration with confused or impractical thinking that amongst other things may lead to substantial financial losses. Under these circumstances there may be an inhibition of creative potential. This means there may be ambitious desires and aspirations, but also significant doubts and misgivings, not to mention a personal lack of confidence that may easily be discouraged.
The Earth’s atmosphere continues to be buffeted by strong Solar winds that have caused attractive auroral displays. It is also our contention that increased geomagnetism that results from this Solar activity is sufficient to have discernible effects upon humans. Below is a description of the likely effects of increased Solar wind that was published in the previous alert bulletin.
Over the last few days there has been a noticeable jump in geomagnetic activity that follows an upsurge in Solar activity and a strong Solar wind. Sometimes this can result in poor concentration with varying degrees of mental confusion, or chaotic thinking. It can also lead to increased irritability with definite physical symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations, or neuralgic complaints and maladies. These also include nausea, toothache and headache possibly accompanied by intense fatigue or tiredness with the sensation of being washed out and exhausted. It should however be warned that these symptoms wear off relatively quickly, and if persisting for more than a day or two or likely to be of some other origin.
Usually with this phase of the Moon there is a brief but noticeable period of more sedate moods and feelings. This may be accompanied by some feelings of melancholia and depression with lowered esteem and self confidence together with sensations of futility or the belief that events may be passing you by. While there may be something of that to the present atmosphere, the influence of the above mentioned factors with their strong emphasis on aggressive and zestful energy mean that the more depressive elements of this current alert period will be considerably reduced. Even so some degree of pessimism may be apparent and there may not be quite the same enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures.
Once more this constitutes a very complex alert pattern with equally complex moods and feelings. Some of these may be of an acute nature and it should be warned that alcohol will sharpen these emotions still further. It should also be emphasised that this current mood situation harbours the potential for considerable disruption of an intensity capable of making unfavourable or unpleasant changes (such as the splits or separations mentioned) Hence the greatest of care is needed in what remains a very unsettled period of moods and emotions.
Alert is 8. Moon 54% illuminated.
