Venus, Mercury and Uranus are now coming to the peak of their alignment and this is exerting a noticeable influence over moods and emotions. As a result feelings will once again be subject to intense and powerful emotions that for some may prove too much for comfort.

For others this will represent a zestful energy filled mood environment with a powerful stimulus for on going schemes and ventures. Nevertheless this is still a very challenging mood atmosphere. Uranus is well known for its unsettling and extreme effects as well as its eccentricity that may lead to out of character thoughts and emotions with behaviour that may deviate quite powerfully from ones ‘normal’ self.

In addition there is the potential for intense disruption that may cause severe problems within the family setting. This may be of a magnitude to produce separations or splits within relationships.There may also be a tendency to loose morals, illicit affairs or a general inclination towards escapism in its limitless forms.

Uranus is very often present where there are particularly brutal murders, such as mass killings or instances where otherwise law abiding citizens suddenly flip and go crazy. Hence there is need for considerable restraint as there may be a natural disposition to overreact and store up consequences for a long time to come.

Under these circumstances pre-existing problems will be made to seem all the more intense and problems in general will seem magnified and acquire monumental proportions. Here again solutions may tend to be radical and extreme and there will be a lowered sense of restraint in giving vent to ones feelings. In particular this atmosphere will readily incline to disruptive or rebellious acts of a confrontational nature, where deliberately provocative circumstances may be manufactured just out of a perverse desire for conflict. This will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as its effects will be magnified at this time.

On a more positive note this atmosphere offers powerful energy for on going schemes and ventures and this will be particularly apparent in activities of a campaigning nature, especially where these concern matters of a strong political, religious, or humanitarian inclination. Here there may be a galvanic and imperious streak of zealousness, with the possibility of self aggrandisement, or feelings of a superior nature. This atmosphere will also incline to heightened perception and inventiveness, with increased creative or artistic abilities.

Over the last few days there has been a noticeable jump in geomagnetic activity that follows an upsurge in Solar activity and a strong Solar wind. Sometimes this can result in poor concentration with varying degrees of mental confusion, or chaotic thinking. It can also lead to increased irritability with definite physical symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations, or neuralgic complaints and maladies. These also include nausea, toothache and headache possibly accompanied by intense fatigue or tiredness with the sensation of being washed out and exhausted. It should however be warned that these symptoms wear off relatively quickly, and if persisting for more than a day or two or likely to be of some other origin.

The other day saw the beginning of a long term opposition between Saturn and Neptune. Last year the pair were in alignment for nine months, though this year the same opposition will only last until the middle of June. Likely mood traits to result from this include acute emotional frustration that for a few may result in deep neuroses or confused and impractical thinking.

Amongst other things this could lead to substantial financial losses as ones sense of judgement and concentration may be far from optimal. On the more positive side this alignment may lead to increased creative potential with idealistic goals and ambitions, including lofty aims and desires. Because this is a long term alignment, lasting close to three months many of its effects may be absorbed and taken for granted. However it pays to be mindful of these traits as they are likely to play an important role in shaping moods over the next three months or so.
