As outlined in yesterday’s alert bulletin, this period sees itself at the focus of extremely unsettling moods and emotions that could have far reaching consequences for a long time to come. The main reason for this is the fast developing alignment between Uranus, Mercury and Venus. This will come to a peak over the next few days and will have important mood implications that require the most vigilant of attention.

Uranus is always regarded as exerting emotions that deviate very powerfully from the norm. This means eccentric, bizarre or out of character modes of behaviour, with a tendency towards perverse or unusual expression. It could also lead to a period of loose or wayward morals or an intense degree of escapism that may play havoc with ones normal routine or schedule. In addition alignments of Uranus and in particular the current alignment mean there is an increased risk of turmoil, dissent, or upheaval within the family setting. Amongst other things this could lead to splits within relationships or tensions that may produce extreme moods that could give way to domestic violence, illicit affairs, or ill judged actions that may have consequences for a long time to come.

Alignments involving Uranus are often to be found where there are particularly brutal crimes or killings and even if the average person will not experience anything remotely approaching these extremes there is still need for the greatest care and attention.

The Uranus, Mercury, Venus Earth alignment will be particularly unsettling for those who already find themselves in difficult circumstances. If so then conditions may become profoundly challenging, but of course as with every celestially induced mood setting this one will be of short duration only, and therefore it may be helpful to think of this before becoming too upset about the current mood.

The present atmosphere still shows vestiges of Full Moon aggression and restlessness and this will further compound the factors mentioned above. In particular it may lead to short tempered outbursts, increased irritability and confrontation even over the most trivial of matters.

The truth is that while some may find this mood a burden others may relish its intense zestfulness. This will especially apply to those of a creative or artistic inclination or indeed any sort of expressional activity. Above all there may be an intense need to communicate and this period may be ideal for those who need that extra burst of energy to revitalise on going schemes and ventures. Similarly there may be a galvanic force for those with a message to relate, particularly where this concerns, religious, humanitarian or political ideals, that may be pursued with a Messianic like zeal and vigour.

Today sees the long term return of an old and long standing alignment from last year. It is the opposition between Saturn and Neptune. Last year the pair were in alignment for nine months, though this year the same opposition will only last until the middle of June. Likely mood traits to result from this include acute emotional frustration that for a few may result in deep neuroses or confused and impractical thinking. Amongst other things this could lead to substantial financial losses as ones sense of judgement and concentration may be far from optimal.

On the more positive side this alignment may lead to increased creative potential with idealistic goals and ambitions, including lofty aims and desires. Because this is a long term alignment, lasting close to three months many of its effects may be absorbed and taken for granted. However it pays to be mindful of these traits as they are likely to play an important role in shaping moods over the next three months or so.
