With the Moon 98% illuminated this still represents a very heightened mood atmosphere that needs very careful handling.

In this immediate post Full Moon environment it is inevitable that moods and emotions will be tense and on edge with heightened nervous restless and anxiety. Under these circumstances many will feel emotionally challenged and this could prove to be a highly testing period.

As with any Full Moon setting there is the likelihood of enflamed emotions with aggressive thoughts and feelings that may be very forcefully expressed. Consequently there is a heightened risk of arguments or contentious encounters, with the possibility of explosive moods and even violence. In fact it will take very little to produce conflict, and some may find themselves arguing just for the sake of it. These feelings will be especially likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as its effects will be magnified at this time and could lead to confrontational behaviour, or feelings of an intense or disturbing nature.

As with every Full Moon atmosphere problems may seem magnified and even moderate difficulties may acquire monumental proportions. In addition there may be raised fears and apprehensions and these may be of a magnitude capable of producing panic attacks or bouts of feeling extremely pressured.

A significant factor of this period is the influence of Saturn which is still somewhat in opposition to both Venus and Mercury. There are several sides to this influence. One is the balancing and restraining nature of Saturn that will tend to moderate some of the more extreme Full Moon elements, but the other is of a depressing, self limiting atmosphere that may be very low on self confidence. Indeed this may evoke a lack of self worth with personal recriminations regarding ones own short comings that may tend to be highly exaggerated. Similarly there may be undue pessimism or feelings of futility, and this could lead to despair and frustration, or a desire to wallow in self pity. Once again these emotions will be further exaggerated by the effects of alcohol with the risk of moods becoming enflamed to a dangerous extent.

The opposition between Saturn, and Venus and Mercury is now coming to a close. However during the course of next week this will be replaced by the opposition between Uranus and Mercury and Venus. As with any alignment featuring Uranus this harbours the potential for extremes of mood and feeling. Indeed there is a definite risk of extremist moods and ideas with a disruptive, or highly strung nervous system that will tend to dramatic events and happenings. There will also be a tendency towards unusual tastes and values with bizarre, unusual, or even perverse modes of expression. However more will be said on this in a future alert bulletin.

All in all this represents an atmosphere of high energy with contrasting emotions that may quickly range between extremes. It means that all emotions will be heightened, so that prevailing moods will be emphasised to a considerable extent. Joyful experiences will seem almost ecstatic, and by contrast depressive moods will seem almost unbearably dark. The problem is that one can turn into the other in very quick time, hence the need for vigilance in what is a highly challenging period.
