Many people of a sensitive nature often feel that the period around the time of either Equinoxes to be a particularly challenging period. This is also a time when Auroras begin to peak and as auroras are an indication of an interaction between the Earth’s atmosphere and Solar particles it seems that moods and displays of the Northern lights are somehow connected.

Up until now it is was never realised why auroras peaked around the time of the Equinoxes, but now NASA has discovered new evidence that may throw much needed light on the matter. In fact latest finds reveal that due to the orientation of the Earth’s magnetic field at the time of the Equinoxes, there exists a better connection between energy streams from the Sun and the Earth. This leads to attractive displays of auroral lights and also - as is our contention - the heightened period of perception and feeling experienced by many around the time of the Equinoxes.

The next few days carry a greatly heightened risk of major earthquakes. These often occur around the time of either the New or Full Moon and this month the possibility is even further heightened by the closeness of yesterday’s Equinox, and several potent planetary alignments.

Already there has been a major quake measuring 7.4 that rocked remote regions of China, fortunately causing few if any damage or casualties. Coming days harbour the risk of similar, if not greater quakes and also the risk of disturbed or unusual weather patterns.

It is also our contention that this period around the Vernal Equinox is always going to be vulnerable to major events and happenings because the Earth is more prone to Solar energy effects at this time. For more on this please see the short feature above.

Today is the day of the Full Moon which this month comes during a period of very heightened planetary activity. As a result there will be a highly complex mood scenario with tense and anxious emotions laden with nervous restlessness that will contribute to an unsettled and difficult atmosphere.

As with any Full Moon period there will be a propensity towards aggressive moods and feelings with the possibility of volatile expression, arguments, or flashes of temper that in the appropriate circumstances may give way to violence.

Similarly there may be simmering resentment and a tendency towards irritability and fault finding, even over the most trivial of matters. Consequently there is a supreme risk of upheaval within the family setting with the chance of extreme moods and emotions that can easily spiral out of all control. Indeed where arguments develop there may be little restraint in what is said or done and the consequences of ones actions may be around for a long time to come. It cannot be too highly stressed that the effects of alcohol will be greatly magnified at this time and in tandem with the overall atmosphere will contribute to a period of the greatest mood risk.
