Happy Equinox.

Today is the day of the Vernal Equinox, which is the moment when the Sun is positioned directly over the Earth’s equator. Many believe this carries its own separate tensions and anxieties, but also advantages, and other psychological effects that this year will be all the more heightened by numerous other celestial factors that make this a highly complex period of moods and emotions.

Perhaps the main factor at this time is the impending Full Moon which is now only hours away, occurring precisely on March 21st at 18:40 GMT, or 13:40 EDT. Inevitably this will give rise to tense and anxious conditions with a high degree of nervous restlessness. Similarly there will be a noticeable increase in aggression and irritability with the likelihood of arguments, rebellious tendencies as well as volatile expression, simmering resentments, and the potential for violent outbursts. It should be warned that these traits will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as its effects will be heightened at this time.

Under these circumstances problems will loom large along with a tendency to worry and apprehension, with fears and concerns even over the most trivial of matters. Essentially it means that those with a sensitive nature may find this period to be extremely challenging with difficult and trying emotions, and those vulnerable to panic attacks will also find this to be a testing time.
