Unfortunately it was not possible to issue an update to the Mood Alert today but conditions continue very much according to the last update issued yesterday and which is contained below:

We are still very much in the midst of a very heightened mood atmosphere with tense and anxious emotions along with raised nervous restlessness. This will mean added fears and anxieties with worries and apprehensions that may not easily be dispelled.

Under these circumstances problems will appear magnified and for some this will constitute a time of the greatest challenge with highly uncomfortable emotions that will bring some close to crisis point.

The reasons for this heightened mood atmosphere are the New Moon of just a day ago, along with several notable planetary alignments, including the highly unsettling effects of the Sun/Uranus conjunction. Then there is the continuing influence of the four way alignment involving Neptune, Venus, Mercury and Earth to contend with.

The sum total of the above mentioned influence is a highly sensitive mood pattern with very penetrating emotions. These can range from impressionable, idealistic, sentimental and melancholic feelings to more agreeable traits of warmth and understanding. Yet again there is the potential for more aggressive energy with rebellious thoughts and inclinations that will be made all the more evident where there is the consumption of alcohol.

Inevitably under these circumstances of heightened emotion there may be a strong temptation to take the edge off the atmosphere by drinking more than usual and this carries the risk of conflict and particularly strong emotions.

Activities that rely on expressional qualities will be extremely well indicated at this time and this will act as a great boost to creative or artistic endeavours.

The most unsettling feature of this current alert is the on going alignment between the Sun and Uranus. This is now at a peak and constitutes a period of the highest alert, since Sun/Uranus alignments are capable of generating particularly extreme events and happenings. Likely traits include disruptive or rebellious inclinations as well as a disposition to bizarre, eccentric, or even perverse modes of behaviour. Even more unsettling is a propensity towards dramatic or drastic events with the possibility of extreme upheaval within the family setting. This may culminate in unreasoned arguments or hysteria, or merely arguing for the sake of it.

While some measure of balance will come from the alignment of Neptune, Venus and Mercury mentioned above, there is no avoiding the fact that this atmosphere has the potential for particularly nasty events and happenings and calls for the greatest of vigilance and attention.
