Is this the years most stressful day?
For some this is very likely to turn out to be one of the years most stress laden days. The New Moon in conjunction with numerous potent planetary alignments means that today, as well as succeeding days is likely to pose a significant challenge. In fact it would not be over melodramatic to say that some will find themselves pushed to the very brink of crisis, at the edge of what they feel they can stand.
The reasons for this are not hard to find. Firstly today is the day of the New Moon and even this alone would be enough to bring about increased stress and anxiety. However when this already stress filled atmosphere is further heightened by alignments such as the highly volatile conjunction between the Sun, Moon and Uranus, and also the three way alignment between Venus, Mercury and Neptune, then you have a recipe for extreme emotions and a volatile setting out of the top category of emotional upheaval.
Given these circumstances it would also be fair to say that since Mood Alert was founded, around five years ago, no single day has ever carried the same turbulent features as this one. More analytically the Sun/Moon/Uranus alignment has the potential for extreme moods and feelings with bizarre, eccentric, or unusual modes of expression or out of character or even perverse inclinations.
This alignment also carries the risk of extreme domestic upheaval with agitated, unsettled or rebellious emotions that may be filled with galvanic energy or a driven inspiration towards some idealistic goal or desire. For some this may amount to a missionary sense of zeal with a strong detachment from reality, as self deceit is also a dominant feature of this period. Hence it is advisable that any thoughts or inclinations that may arise at this time are best reviewed against a period of much less stressful emotions before committing oneself to lasting changes. Another feature of this time is a strong escapist element that may be the ruin of a well ordered routine as there will be a strong temptation to partake of other more instantly rewarding alternatives. In short this is not an atmosphere that will readily tolerate any humdrum monotony of every day life.
Venus, Mercury and Neptune are also conjunct at this time and this will provide a cross influence of very changeable emotions that is hard to predict. Certain to say however that this will lead to a period of heightened emotional sensitivity with vulnerable and penetrating feelings with sentimental, nostalgic or melancholic inclinations.
On a more positive note this atmosphere offers intense expressional ability that will be very useful for artists, writers, or other creative activities. However this favours single quickly undertaken projects, i.e. short stories, quickly executed art or other modes of creative expression that may be swiftly completed while this present atmosphere persists. Otherwise there may be a significant lurch in the emotional balance of the work that will not be compatible with the rest of the project.
By the same token this atmosphere offers considerable physical and emotional energy to all activities, and the best way of dealing with this period is a balanced utilisation of the intense energy that is there in abundance.
There is no disguising the fact that this is an extremely delicate mood atmosphere. Like all others it will be short lived and therefore those who may be suffering at this time should find comfort in this. Inevitably, for some, there will be a temptation to take the edge off the atmosphere through resorting to drugs or alcohol, but this would be to ignore the positive and natural aspects of this period which, with care, can be harnessed to a very satisfying extent.
