Today sees a highly complex celestial pattern in one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments. In addition we are only just a few days away from the New Moon and this together with all the other major alignments of this time make this a period to be viewed with the utmost caution and vigilance.
As mentioned above we are only a matter of days away from the New Moon and inevitably this will add tension and anxiety, not to mention a high degree of restless energy to an atmosphere that is already laden with heightened awareness and perception. Under these circumstances there is a raised potential for aggressive thoughts and inclinations and the days ahead will be prone to irritable outbursts or loss of temper, along with simmering resentments and volatile expression.
Today also sees a complex five way alignment involving the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Neptune and the Earth. This is likely to lead to extremely complex moods and emotions some of which may tend to cancel each other out. The influence of Venus for instance may tend to dampen some of the more hostile energy of this period whereas the actions of Mercury will add alertness and mental clarity. Unfortunately this will be slightly offset by the influence of Neptune, that as well as bringing acute emotional sensitivity will also lend itself to more vague and confused imaginings with indistinct fears and paranoia’s.
Equally there may be a tendency to sentimental thoughts and feelings with idealistic inclinations, or appreciation of things of beauty either in nature or through the arts, with a particular focus on the world of music. In fact this atmosphere may readily incline towards creative or expressional pursuits but finding the discipline to make the best possible use of this opportunity may be difficult.
This period will also sees a heavy attraction towards escapism in its limitless forms and the humdrum routine of every day work may seem even less appealing than it usually is. As a result tasks may be left unfinished or else abandoned altogether in favour of more emotionally rewarding alternatives.
A special warning concerns the fast developing alignment between the Sun and Uranus. This is now fast approaching its peak and for the next ten days or so will form a source of great disruptive energy with the possibility of extremes of thought and action. This will be especially apparent on the 7th of the month - the day of the New Moon - when the Sun/Uranus alignment will be joined by the Moon and in so doing create circumstances of the utmost psychological challenge. As such this represents one of the years most contentious dates and is certainly one that needs to be treated with great respect and caution.
Likely traits to result from this include bizarre or eccentric behaviour with out of character thoughts and feelings that may occasionally tend towards highly perverse inclinations. In addition there may be a propensity towards extremes of behaviour with disruption in the family setting along with dramatic or drastic consequences.
On a more cheerful note this alignment as well as the overall mood situation at this time disposes itself towards increased zest and energy that may add impetus to on going schemes and ventures. In fact there may be a galvanic sense of zeal towards issues and this may give a lasting boost to ones future course of development. Under these circumstances there may be an intense desire for change and given the prodigious amounts of energy there will also be opportunity to implement these changes with immediate effect.
The next few days may not be the easiest of the year, but provided one can steer clear of extremes this period does offer a great opportunity for achieving things that may later come to be viewed with the greatest satisfaction.
Alert is 8. Moon 6% illuminated.
