With the exception of the current phase of the Moon, and a sudden upsurge in geomagnetic activity we see the same celestial conditions that have prevailed for the whole of this week. This has been characterised by the influence of two alignments that have remained consistent in their effects throughout this period.

The first of these alignments is the opposition between the Sun and Saturn. This has been active now for over two weeks and although beyond its peak is still capable of influencing moods and emotions. Likely traits to come from this include cool and calculating moods and feelings with extra caution and discipline.

On the other hand this alignment can also lead to lowered self confidence with diminished inspiration and enthusiasm. There is also the potential for melancholia and depression which at this time may be all the more likely since we are in a brief, but noticeable period of lowered or flattened moods that occur when the Moon is around 50% illuminated. The Sun/Saturn opposition also harbours the potential for a variety of general fears and phobias as well as creating conditions that may be ripe for chronic ill health.

Another prime feature of this period is the alignment between Mercury and Venus which is now reaching a peak. As mentioned on numerous previous occasions likely mood traits will incline towards feelings of charm and gentleness, along with a more agreeable and harmonious disposition as well as better inclined expressional abilities. However this alignment can also stimulate powerful mental and nervous activity with heightened moods and feelings that occasionally may just be a little too strong for comfort.

For the last 24 hours the Earth’s atmosphere has been buffeted by a high speed Solar wind flow that has led to increased levels of geomagnetic activity. Sometimes this can result in quite noticeable physical and emotional symptoms such as neuralgic pains, headache, toothache, nausea, dizziness, or simply feeling unwell for no apparent reason. There is also the likelihood of fatigue or tiredness or feeling washed out and depleted of energy.

Emotionally, increased geomagnetic activity can lead to bouts of irritability or anxiousness with poor concentration and trouble focusing on the task in hand.

It should be pointed out, as we have many times already, that symptoms related to increased geomagnetic activity tend to be of short duration only, and if persisting longer than a few days are likely to be of some other origin.

Alert is 7. Moon 47% illuminated.
