We are now just less than two days away from the Full Moon which this month will result in a total Lunar eclipse that will be visible from Europe and the Americas.

With regards to moods and emotions this will likely result in heightened restless energy with raised tension and anxiety. In addition there will be more aggression and the likelihood of arguments, contentious encounters and volatile exchanges. Similarly there may be increased worry and apprehension that will be made all the more forceful as the Moon is now coming into opposition with each of Venus, Mercury and Neptune over the next day or so.

The Moon/Venus opposition may well lead to friendlier and more popular moods and feelings with strong affections and a better overall level of understanding with others. The Moon/Venus opposition last up until around 18:00 GMT (13:00 EDT) and after this the effects of the Moon/Mercury opposition will be more dominant. This will be for sensitive, alert and apprehensive moods with a worrying attitude that may be prone to bouts of restlessness, as well as poor memory and concentration.

To some extent these feelings will be even further reinforced by the later opposition between the Moon and Neptune. This is likely to create acute emotional sensitivity that will of course be further heightened by the impending Full Moon. This may also dispose to confused, chaotic or unstable emotions.

As mentioned in previous alerts the Sun is now in opposition to Saturn and is one of the dominant mood features of the next few weeks. Likely traits to result from this include cool and calculating emotions with a responsible and practical attitude. It will also mean realistic and resourceful endeavour with better concentration and persistence of effort. On the other hand Sun/Saturn alignments can also lead to limited emotional depth and experience with a sense of personal inadequacy or depressional thoughts and behaviour with melancholia and a worrying attitude that may be prone to bouts of phobias, that could contribute to chronic ill health.

We are now heading into a powerful set of very changeable emotions that for some may prove to be highly challenging and happy will be those who manage to address the more rewarding zestful emotions this period has to offer rather than the self limiting, argumentative or worrying aspects of a profoundly complex mood setting.

Alert is 8. Moon 97% illuminated.
