We have often highlighted the tendency of the Full or New Moon period to bring on major earthquakes, and this is a well known fact. However there is also a another mini-period that is susceptible to major quakes and that arises when the Sun and Moon are exactly square to the Earth with the Moon 50% illuminated. This month this was characterised by a major earthquake of magnitude 7.0 that occurred in the sea area off southern Greece. It shows that once again there is a clear connection between celestial events and happenings here on Earth in a conjoined symmetry of cause and effect that is very obvious and just as predictable.
