The dominant feature of this present alert, as it will be for most of the early part of the week ahead is the alignment between the Sun and Neptune. Indeed this is currently the only alignment of note but this however does not mean this period is without strong celestial influence. In fact all to the contrary.

Essentially without any meaningful cross influence the full traits of the Sun/Neptune alignment will be all the more evident and its effects will be well to the fore. These are of a powerful self refining atmosphere with sensitive, vulnerable and impressionable moods and feelings that at times may tend towards confusion, deceitfulness, or even neurotic reactions to quite ordinary situations. In addition there may be a strong element of escapism with a need or pressure to escape from the realities of life that may all too easily include drugs or drink.

On a more positive scale this atmosphere may also lead to an enhanced appreciation of spiritual or mystical values with an increased sense of awareness that may border on psychic intuition. Either way the forcefulness and strength of emotions will be well to the fore and this may be perfect for artistic and expressional activities.

Criticism will be more than usually stinging at this time and there may be poor self confidence or over reaction to even the slightest of perceived comments of a derogatory nature.

Under these circumstances it may be hard not to feel weighted under by a flood of emotions and decisions of an important nature may be extremely hard to make. Because of this it may be desirable - if possible - to resort to some mild to moderate physical activity as it will be important to relieve some of the pent up tensions that may be all too obvious at this time.

There is no doubt that this period harbours the potential for particularly strong emotions that may at times appear overwhelming in their magnitude or possessed with an exceptionally sensitive nature. It should also be remembered that we are now just several days beyond the New Moon and this is may add some degree of tension and anxiety together with more aggressive and argumentative moods that from time to time may be forcefully expressed.
