2008 - What to look out for.

The year 2008 will be one of unusually complex and long lasting planetary alignments that are sure to bring a wide variety of moods and emotions. Sometimes these will be at variance with one another with a clash of traits and attributes that will contribute to an incredibly rich field of celestial influence.

Of particular note is the way that the years Full and New Moons will be made all the more powerful because each one of them coincides with the Moon also being aligned with either Mars or Uranus. This is guaranteed to result in a particularly tense run up to each of the New and Full Moons of the year, especially so since the Moon will also be aspecting with numerous other planets at these times.

Another special point regarding 2008 is that for the first time in numerous years there is not a single day that is not subject to the influence of some major alignment. It means that this year, whether for better or for worse, will be conditioned by an immense celestial signature that will mark the year out as one of considerable significance. Inevitably there will be good things as well as bad, providing challenges, trials, and tribulations but also opportunities, with the necessary awareness and perception to change ones life for the better.

The alignment between Venus and Jupiter is now coming to a peak. This has been influential for almost a week now and is contributing to more generous and expansive moods with a better disposed sense of harmony and understanding.

In addition there is the likelihood of friendly, charming and affectionate moods and emotions with a gregarious outlook that may facilitate communication and co-operation with others. As well as this there may be an increased degree of optimism and enthusiasm that could contribute to a better enjoyment of things. Less agreeable is the tendency for this alignment towards exaggerated or extravagant behaviour that may tend towards vulgar tastes or self indulgent behaviour.

Mercury and Neptune still remain very much aligned and for some this has the potential for extreme problems as it can give rise to acute emotional sensitivity. This will be especially likely in those susceptible to sensitive atmospheres and although the last few days have seen a low overall alert rating, there will be those who will have found this period an acute test of sanity.
