We are now at a phase of the Moon that can lead to a nondescript emotional atmosphere with few great highs and lows and broadly reminiscent of the emotional doldrums. This is very much an accurate statement of this present time though important on going alignments still make this a complex period of moods and feelings.

As mentioned in a previous alert Venus is now aligning with Jupiter. As well as anything this may create optimistic and better disposed moods and emotions with a tendency towards friendlier and more affectionate feelings. This could lead to greater understanding and sympathy between individuals and actively contribute to a happier and more rewarding period of personal experience. In addition there may be a tendency towards pleasure seeking activities or those with a high degree of entertainment value including parties and other convivial occasions of a social nature.

On the other hand the Venus/Jupiter alignment has the potential for over exaggerated emotions with the possibility of extravagant gestures that may seem inappropriate or objectionable to others.

Some may see this mood as an ideal time for rest and relaxation and will definitely benefit those who are able to takes things at their own pace and with few demands on their time and efforts. Conversely those on a tight deadline may find themselves especially pressured as time may appear to go by with distressing swiftness with little seeming to have been done or accomplished. Similarly there may be distracting influences or lack of urgency that may prove detrimental to a firm routine of work.

This period is still influenced by the continuing alignment between Mercury and Neptune. In an otherwise unruffled emotional setting this may prove to be the one element of contention with the possibility of emotional sensitivity, and enough zestful energy to cause some degree of nervous restlessness and anxiety. Combined with the exaggerated qualities of Jupiter as it aligns with Venus this may produce some elements of contention with a possibility that when provoked there is a chance of short lived but explosive outbursts. However this is not an overtly confrontational atmosphere and the likelihood is that any flare ups of temper will be only of short duration.

Coming days may see a continuation of the present emotional atmosphere with reduced tension and a better degree of overall optimism and enthusiasm.
